Day one’s smoothie was pretty good! This was the first time I have ever had a smoothie with water as the liquid base (I normally use apple or orange juice) but it wasn’t bad at all. In addition to three smoothies a day, low sodium tuna, raw hard vegetables (carrots, celery, cucumber, etc), raw nuts, boiled eggs, unsweetened peanut butter, and apples are allowed. I was actually pretty full most of the day; however, I did have a battle in my mind around 3 or 4 o’clock talking myself down from my usual carby snacks such as crackers and anything sweet. I did eat too many nuts today but in not beating myself up because I didn’t verify how many were allowed before eating. It is only supposed to be a handful and not half a bag 😳. It was a small bag. Now that I know and can correct my mistakes, I’m really looking forward to successfully reaching Day 10! I did not exercise today because I didn’t make it to the gym because of appointments and I was tired when I got home, which is normal during a detox, so I allowed my body today to rest so that I can be ready to shake my boo-tay in Zumba tomorrow 😂😂. As always I will keep you posted!
